Josh and George Robertson (founders of National HME) where
interviewed by the Fort Worth Business Press for their story of life changing entrepreneurship.
They also made a blur`111p about Project 40:31 Foundation. Project 40:31
Foundation is their nonprofit that helps hospice patients in need financially, physically, or even emotionally- which fits
right in with the great job that National HME does of serving there hospice
patients with the best of medical equipment.

Fundraiser: The Community Arts Center of Fort Worth, TX
I am proud to say that Project 40:31 has had its very first fundraiser, and it was extremely successful!
Thank you to all of the people who gave their time, energy, and funds to make this fundraiser a great success, we could not have done it without you!!
We had our fundraiser at the beautiful Community Arts Center of Fort Worth and had a wonderful meal provided by Z's Cafe. We also had no shortage of fun and fellowship. A silent and live auction were held with lots of great giveaways such as a trip to Ruidoso, New Mexico, Texas Ranger tickets, museum passes, photography and landscaping packets, and art work just to name a few.
We would also like to thank Dr. Joel Freeman, who was kind enough to speak to our audience as well. And last but not least we couldn't be more excited to announce that we raised $12,909.44. So, again, thank you to everyone who gave and participated in our fundraiser.
It was a focus to introduce ourselves and what we are about as well as raise money for our cause towards Hospice patients.
Please stay tuned for our next fundraiser, the more the merrier!!

Our 3 Service Buckets
Funding for Families
Service Bucket one:
We know how special and personal the hospice experience can
be. Even though it is a very trying and
emotional time for everyone involved it can also be in a loving, caring, and
safe environment. We understand basic
needs are difficult; therefore, Project 4031 desires to
provide for families during these times.
If you or a loved one are on hospice and are having difficulty meeting
the needs for everyday living, Project 4031 is here for you. We have funding in place to help provide
basic needs. Please view the guidelines
below and if you believe this program would be beneficial for you or your
family member on Hospice you may fill out the form under the tab “Needing
assistance.”
Service Bucket two:
We know how important it is to leave this earth with a sense
of peace not only for the patient but also the family. From personal experience, Kristina Robertson
our Executive Director’s grandmother was in her last stages of cancer when she received
hospice care. Her dream was to be able
to pass away at the home she had lived at for more than 50 years. Because of hospice this dream could be
fulfilled. It meant the world to her
family and I know it meant the world to her for this wish to be granted.
Through our
fulfilling dreams program we are able to partner with other organizations and
families so that hospice patients are able to leave this earth with joy and
peace. If you or a loved one has a last
wish you would like to be granted please fill out the contact form.
Hospice International
Service Bucket three:
Our Story
Our story begins with the passion
and heart of Joshua Robertson and his vision to make the Hospice community a
stronger component for patients and their families during their end of life
journey. Across the United States and
around the globe people are not experiencing their end of life story to the
fullest, and sometimes without the comfort of needed equipment and medical
supplies. Project 4031 was created to
assist with their story; enhancing closure that provides peace, joy, and a sense
of fulfillment. The original business devoted to providing medical equipment
for the hospice industry, National HME, Inc. was formed in 2006; which has
further identified the many needs related to end of life care.
Joshua
Robertson began his interest in the hospice industry more than six years ago
during his senior class project at Texas Tech University; he developed and
wrote a business plan. In his research
he found that there was a gap of communication and understanding between the
hospice companies and the equipment provider.
In seeing this he decided to make the situation a better one, and thus
launched his dream to make a difference in the hospice marketplace.
The
leadership of the company and the Robertson family have had a passion to reach
out and assist with additional needs for hospice patients and decided to form a
Foundation. Project 4031 was birthed in
2011. Through many of prayers and guidance from our Lord and Savior, Josh’s wife Kristina Robertson a former
school teacher decided to resign from her teaching career and pursue their
families passion of helping the hospice community.
With an
abundance of prayers, guidance, teamwork, mentorship, and above all else our
Lord Jesus Christ, Project 4031 is a dream that is in the midst of becoming a
realty.
We describe
our goals for Project 4031 as three buckets of service.
1.
Provide sustainable resources so the caregivers
can adequately meet the needs
the patients and families during their end of
life care.
2.
Provide the needed medical equipment and supplies
to patients so they are as
comfortable as possible.
3.
Partnering with families and other organizations
honoring dreams so they may
leave this earth fulfilled.
“Whatever you do work heartily, as
for the Lord and not for men. Knowing
that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24. We know that this is not
our work, but the work of our Savior.
Our prayer everyday is to be good stewards of Project 4031. If we always keep this in the forefront of
everything we do, His work will be done. Our prayer is that you will join us in our passion and
mission to strengthen the end of life stories for hospice patients and their
families around the world.
Project 4031's Mission and Vision
Project
4031 is founded on Isaiah 40:31, “But they who hope in the Lord shall
